Smith Road Raceway - Memorial Day - 2008
The Starting Line
1st place - The whole race - He could not be caught!!!! Derrick Adams #43 - Derrick is doing something right because he seems unstoppable on his trike.
He seems to be the "guy to catch" for the 2008 season.
2nd place - Also 2nd the whole race (1st and 2nd moto) - and fast as usual - Flyin Brian Chilinski (sp) #117. Brian rode his Team Red machine to a second place finish - but he also had his
Big Green Machine on hand. I'm sure we'll see it being raced at some point and time this year.
A fight for 3rd - In moto #1 Jason Hall took 3rd - In moto #2 Garageboy Mark #34 took 3rd place. Myself - Tim #75 took 4th on both motos
and Tim Stefanko Sr - #90 took 5th in both motos and 4th overall. Here is a battle in the last turn of the track.
Shown here are two up and coming trike superstars doing battle. Tim Stefanko Jr #85 on a 1st generation ATC250R and Brandon Hall #33 on a custom built ATC80R.
These kids may be young - but they are fast and determined. This is the future of trike racing. I see huge improvements every year from these kids.
The builder himself - on the CRF450 powered trike - Jason Hall - Jason had some technical difficulties and was quoted as saying:
"that's it for this dang stupid rekluse clutch - it's coming off as soon as I get home!!!" Once Jason gets this trike dialed in - look out!
Rammin Rich pouring on the fuel. Rich is a regular at Smith Road on his ATC250R
Rick - twist it buddy - twist it. Rick aka Mr. Seadoo twisting his sick blue ATC250R (#918). Rick is also a permanant fixture at Smith Road as well as with the OTC!
Bill Keister #88 was on hand for his first non-TF trike race and He loved it. He did well and will return to race his 85 ATC350X at Smith Road. Bill is a veteran trike rider and new to the "OTC Race Game". Best wishes to Bill in the future.
A couple of me in action. I am loving this water cooled R. Thanks Josh and Larry!!!!! It is a completely different animal than my last years race bike - an air cooled! Awesome Trike!!
Some Quad action - Derrick - Speedbump - Jason85atc250r - and Jason hall (not shown)
