The 1974 Honda ATC70

The 1st generation ATC70 was introduced in 1973 as the world's first child sized ATV. It was different from the US90 (ATC90) in the sense that it had wheels like today's modern ATVs, while the US90 had a wheel/tire combo. It was also smaller than the US90 to accomodate a child's stature better. The 1st generation ATC70 was only made for two years (1973 and 1974). The 1973 model had silver colored front forks and orange body and flame graphics on the gas tank and rear fenders. The 1974 ATC70 was all red with yellow graphics on the gas tank and rear fenders. After 1974 the ATC70 was absent from the Honda ATC line up until it's re-release in 1978.

This 1st generation, 2nd year model is one of our favorite models here at Tionesta Trikes. It just screams "Old School" with it's narrow mini-bike style gas tank, and rear frame section exposed as part of the actual body. This machine was restored by a precious owner around 2001 or so.
