The 1983 Honda ATC110 OEM Blue

The ATC110 was made between 1979 and 1985. There were 3 body styles or "generations" of the ATC110. 1983 brought the 3rd and last generation of the ATC110 which made it's production run until 1985. Although the frame remained virtually unchanged since the US 90 release in 1970, the 3rd generation came with a new style shared with the new for 1984 ATC125M. Updates included a larger seat that wrapped around the gas tank, a newly designed gas tank, a trunk between the rear fenders, and mudflaps with "ATC110" and "HONDA" molded into the right and left flaps respectively. Through 3 generations of 110s - the engine virtually remained the same, minus the upgrade from points ingnition to CDI in 1983.

Do not adjust the color of your monitor - this is a blue Honda. Yeas back in the day when "Red Ruled" and the majority of Honda ATCs were red, in 1983 and 1984, blue was an option for the ATC110. There is alot of misinformation floating around on popular 3 wheeler websites - so I will set the record straight here and now. In 1983 and 1984 - Honda produced limited numbers of blue ATC70s. These were special 70s as they were called "Christmas Giveaways" and each Honda dealership got only 1. The blue 110s had nothing to do with the "Christmas Giveaways". It was simply a color option. From what I hear they did not sell very well as most people wanted the red ones. Production numbers were low for the blue 110s and they are considered by collectors to be very desirable for that reason. Plastics and decals are almost impossible to find for these.
