The 1983 Honda ATC200

1983 was the last year for the ATC200. It was introduced in 1981, and it took the place of the ATC185 from 1980. The ATC200 was a great sport/utility machine. The last year of production brought front suspension to the model which made for a much more comfortable ride. Honda also added front suspension to the ATC185S that year. The ATC200 was the largest of the ATC four stroke line-up until 1985 when Honda introduced a few 250CC models as well as the ATC350X. From 1984 until 1986, the ATC200 was no longer in production, but instead the ATC200S took its place. The 200S was a smaller model, but the engine and transmission remained virtually un-changed (minus shift patterns) from its introduction until 1986 when production stopped.

Our ATC200 has racked up a ton of miles over the years, but is still a great all around machine for light duty yard work to the toughest of trail riding. The ATC200 was a very popular model and there are tons of them still running today. Plain as it may be, the ATC200 is extraodinary!
